that thing where the sound comes from. it peers forward, turning its head this way and that to look at what it is.]

Cilan watches the traveler curiously, wondering why it's staring at his face like that.]

Alright, I'll meet you there.

[Cilan keeps his reply short and sweet--they can talk more when he actually gets there, but for now he'll make sure things are in order here before he leaves and heads off. Give or take fifteen to twenty minutes, but he'll be arriving at the Battle Dome with a cheerful greeting once he spots her.]

[Emmet realized that most of the events of the last week or so were inspired by some sort of strange shift. That somehow, he was affected to be much more affectionate and loving with those around him.

But the feelings he had towards one person in particular... those did not dissipate. He saw as everyone around him returned to their usual selves, awkward at best, but Emmet himself...

...He knocks on Cilan's door.]

[Cilan's also sort of realized that the events of the last week or so appeared to be part of Luceti's...usual amount of strangeness. Which, someone as smart as he claimed to be, really should have picked up on it a lot sooner and now he may or may not owe an apology to a few people that he may have been too forward around. (As well as acknowledging that Masaomi was actually right for once when he warned us about a potential shift taking place.) Unlike Emmet, he's not affected by the lingering effects of this particular shift, which...doesn't really help in trying to figure out how he actually feels about Emmet now. Instead of waking up on the day the shift ended with feelings of "love and happiness and such", he instead felt very awkward and confused and maybe freaking out because askgdkj Emmet confessed to us and kissed us on the cheek and we sort of did the same and said some embarrassing stuff WHY DID WE DO THAT??

So he may have spent the next few days trying to calmly figure out what he should do and how exactly he should approach this...but three and a half days later and he's still a little awkward and unsure, but it's not like we can put this off forever. But at the knock at the door, Cilan figures he could probably shelve it a little longer and try not to act weird around our guest...or not, noting who the person at our door actually is when he goes to greet them. Um...you can totally act normal, right Cilan? Somehow against all odds, he manages to smile and try to appear calm despite mentally panicking a little.]

[It was really getting to be a pain to have such an empty house. Just a few months ago, the place was packed and bustling, people and Pokémon always going in and out, day in and day out. There was never a dull moment in House 11, which had truly become the PokéManor.

...But now it was empty. A house with nearly a dozen bedrooms to it, occupied by only two people, Gold and Frey. Frey was good people, but Gold couldn't survive on having just him as a roommate. He'd go insane. Frey's just too... quiet. Also he's probably off making out with Tear every day now.

Things needed to change. He needed to get more people in here. And he knew where to start, too.]

[Cilan has certainly noticed the dwindling number of Pokemon Trainers here in comparison to how many there used to be when he first arrived about a year ago, but...well, there's not much we can do about it, is there? All we can really do for now is look out for and help out any trainers that are still here in addition to looking out for ourselves.

So when he notices that Gold's trying to contact him on the journal, he replies in as timely of a manner as possible.]

[ So Masaomi and Shiemi are training under Cilan together. Stuff is going to be whacky. They are meeting up to run into Cilan now, specifically by meeting up with him at the fountain! So that he might lead them out somewhere else! The pressure is on Taku! ]

Hi Red! It has been quite a while, hasn't it?

[there's a slight pause here, as if he had to think about it for a second or two first regarding how to respond to the question--he's still not getting nearly as much sleep as he'd like, but...]

I've been relatively well, and so have my Pokemon. We've been trying some new ideas during our recent training sessions, and I think some of them are coming along nicely. Given enough time and effort, I'm sure they'll have a perfect taste~!

How have you been since the last time we spoke?

[ Iiit's another one of those nights. Thanks to the help of Red's Venusaur Ash has been getting better sleep whenever the large grass Pokemon stayed at their house. He's been able to get to sleep and stay asleep without waking up from any of his own nightmares that he might still be having.

However, there's still one nightmare that not even Venusaur has been able to help with and that's the one keeping him awake tonight.

But just because it's keeping him awake tonight doesn't mean someone else is having it tonight as well... right? Or rather, it's what Ash is hoping as he quietly makes it way to Cilan's bedroom door with Pikachu cradled in his arms. Once he's there he shifts the electric mouse a little so he's in one arm as his other reaches up to tap the door.

[Luckily for Ash, someone's not getting very much sleep tonight either. He was pretty much just lying there and staring at the ceiling before hearing the noise. It takes a few minutes, but eventually, the door opens a little as Cilan peeks out to see who it is, blinking a little.]

...Ash? [He opens the door a little wider, but not enough to grant access yet. Judging from the way he's dressed in his pajamas and how his hair kind of looks like fluffy bed-head, it's highly likely that he was probably trying to sleep at one point. But upon seeing Ash, he seems wide awake now as he brushes some of his bangs back up and out of his face.] Is everything alright?
