You know, now that I think about it... this cafe almost reminds me a little of the one they show in "The Princess Pokemon's Holiday"; a quaint spot with a cute flavor, perfect when it comes to matching up to the tastes of royalty... though, it's been a while since I last watched that movie, so I'd have to find a way to watch it again sometime when I'm able to.
Huh. [ That's a thought, one that Red's silent for, briefly. ] Do you miss watching movies? You know, they have a theatre around here, somewhere. Have you ever been to one here?

I have, actually! The shows they put on have an interesting taste to them, though it's been a while since I last visited a theater here.
[Probably not since that one show he went to with Sonia, maybe? Hrm.]
Still, it's not quite the same as a movie, you know? Not only is it a treat to see these stories being presented by talented actors, the special effects and cinematography can sometimes give the experience a unique flavor, if utilized correctly.

... ] You could try remembering a movie on one of the memory petals... would that work? I don't know how long the movie would play for... but we've got to be a long way from TV shows with special effects.

[There's a strange sort of pause as Cilan stares at Red for a moment... and then suddenly slams his hands on the table, shaking the table with the force of it.]

[Judging by his tone, however, it's not frustration, but excitement that his emotional state is in as he reaches across the table to grab Red's shoulders. (Look at all that sparkly glitter ending up in their food now too, whoops)]
Red, after we're done here, let's go to the Memory Tree! We have to try to see if we can get one of these memory petals to work!!
[ You better be dragging him out of the door by the time they've placed away the food into the boxes and carrier bag, Cilan. Red is downing that tea for you! ]
[Good thinking Red, because Cilan is absolutely going to be dragging you out the door once everything is properly situated, not letting go of his friend's arm until they reach the memory tree as he steps back away, considering.]
Now that we're here... which movie to start with first, I wonder? There's so many different flavors to choose from: there's the one I mentioned before with Princess Pokemon's Holiday, or something a little more action-oriented like The Tyranic Tyranitar or Enter the Beartic...
[ Ugh, don't get all excited and hold his arm and make it easy for him forget about feeling all awkward and just appreciate standing here with you instead-- ]

I wanna see the most action-packed, high explosion movie with the best special effects ever!
[How about that Tyranitar idea he mentioned before? With some concentration, he seems to be thinking intensely here: so intense that there's even sparks dancing through the air around him for several minutes or more before finally, he reaches out to grab a memory petal flowing through the air by him, turning with a flourish to inspect it with Red.
It's not perfect, but it looks like a rather clear memory of what looks like a Tyranitar the size of... well, Godzilla, since that's what it's paying homage too, as it emerges from the mountainside, soon standing high above the city and demonstrates it's ability to tear out skyscrapers and breathe an immensely powerful flamethrower attack...]
He's never seen needing to call up a memory petal requiring that much intensity that Cilan displayed, but he'll excuse it for the sight of the oversized pokémon swatting off a billboard with the back of its stubby arm on the way past it. Which is awesome and the way we love to see property damage because heck yeah.
His gaze springs from the petal to Cilan though, to around them and then back. How much is this memory going to show? Should he totally suggest they sit down because who the heck stands while watching a movie-- ]
[... Yeah they probably should have accounted for that, but after the first twenty or so minutes, the memory sort of blurs around it's edges a little, but not too badly that you can't tell what's going on yet. Still, Cilan sighs a little upon noting this.]
I might have to experiment more with this in order to have a better flavor to taste, but what do you think of it so far?
[ Okay yeah dude, by five minutes they were definitely getting somewhere to sit. ]
It's amazing! [ His head whips to face Cilan. ] I never knew a memory could play for this long!

He places a hand hovering close to it, but not directly above it and in the way. ] If you could take a memory from there, and put it into something else that could handle it...
[ ...he says, as if that's a thing he could even dream of achieving, but wouldn't that be ideal? ]
Perhaps... still, [And here, he smiles, allowing a feeling of pride to manifest in the form of a brighter glow around him.] It's an amazing taste, getting to see part of a movie I like and have remembered the flavor of fondly enough for it to make an appearance here.
[ What did we say about getting all fuzzy and that here. Red ducks his head at Cilan's brighter presence, but gradually looks back to him too--or the petal. ]
...Did you want to take some more back to your place to experiment with? Try the same movie again, it might come out better a second time. Or a different movie.
[He could totally take you in a fight if he wanted to, except...]
... Red, relax, I was joking. [(WAS HE??)] Aside from occasionally startling me with her presence when I least expect it, she hasn't really caused that many problems for me recently.
