... Red, relax, I was joking. [(WAS HE??)] Aside from occasionally startling me with her presence when I least expect it, she hasn't really caused that many problems for me recently.

Oh, so you haven't noticed she's...? --That's fine. [ Let's just interrupt our thought there. Hum de dum. ] Anyway, it's going to be hard letting everyone watch it in the house. Gengar will probably enjoy it the most out of all of my pokémon.

[ He's definitely going to let Gengar move around some furniture too while Cilan's distracted. ]

I suppose you might be right about that... in that case, it should be a fine movie-watching group consisting of the two of us, Gengar, and... Pansage has already seen this movie before, but maybe he and Stunfisk would like to watch it with us too.

We know how you get about ghost types. [ He waves a hand as he explains. ] If you can't stop thinking about how there's a ghost type in the room with you, she's going to pick it up the whole movie!

I mean, she might come and cuddle up closer to you for it... but do you want to cuddle with a gengar?

[It's kind of shameful how the thought of that causes Cilan's imagination to make it worse than it actually sounds, imagining the ghost being that close to him and producing a slight shiver down his spine. Even so...]

As... as long as she's visible, then I think it should be fine. [He's actually held a ghost Pokemon in his arms before and handled it just fine then, for the most part. It's when they're invisible that it makes him nervous wondering where they are in relation to his personal space and if they're about to suddenly sneak up on him.]

She likes you a lot already, you know. You're fun to tease.

I would prefer if she didn't think that way about us, but... it is preferable to being disliked, admittedly.
