[Unfortunately (for you, Silver), this is a case of a Pokemon that takes heavily after it's trainer; like Cilan, his Pokemon are all very friendly and hospitable towards just about everyone (...with the possible exception of Stunfisk, it's hard to tell what on earth that Pokemon is actually thinking or feeling half of the time) which might be why Pansage tilts his head a little at Silver, confused. Are you sure you don't want it? It's very good!
Otherwise if Silver still doesn't want it, the Pokemon is gonna take it for itself, drinking from the mug as it takes a seat right there on the step. Hope you like having company for a little while, Silver, before Cilan comes back to the door.]
Hey, sorry about the hold-up. [At noticing Pansage out here, he simply gives the Pokemon an amused look before he turns his attention towards Silver, holding out what appears to be his gift.] I hope I didn't make you wait too long, but... here, this is for you!
[It appears to be a box of food, particularly colorful macaroons and other assorted sweets that can be seen sitting at the top, including some treats that seem to be tailored to be something specifically for Pokemon, no doubt made by Cilan himself. There's also a note sitting on top in the form of what appears to be a note with what you'd usually expect, friendly words and well wishes for the upcoming new year. (There's also a bit of an apology in that he wasn't sure what sort of things you would like in addition to just food (you're a hard person to peg in terms of interests/hobbies outside of Pokemon stuff), but hopefully the food and treats for your Pokemon will suffice for now?)]
[ and now comes the hardest part. receiving. all the while silver watches, he almost forgets to actually take the gift, yet doing so when awkwardness hits, holding his hands out carefully to take the box of assorted sweets. his eyes sweep over the note on top, and looking between the goods and cilan, silver blinks, looks unsure of himself for a moment.

he almost doesn't know what to say, lips pressing together, but then, quietly and lowering his head a bit ( is that . . . an attempt at bowing . . . ? ]

[ it's just all— wow. that's what he should say, right? there's a frown there oh so desperate to tug at his lips, it's a bit visible— but more than that is just how lost he is on how to take people that want to actually gift him, his pokemon ( not even he had in mind to gift his pokemon ). silver makes sure he's straightened up, giving a nod, a brief moment of silence, before getting ready to leave.
he wasn't too big on sweets— but cilan's were actually good. not that he'd admit it anywhere, but it's there. that, and his pokemon are soon to be big fans of his food. ]
