[ Did Red just get burned?? Does he need to turn in his fishing cred? Apologise to the Fishing Guru brothers for his sins? These are important things Red will need to contemplate later when he isn't suddenly being the one taken out for the fishing lunch that was his idea and plan.

But off they go, taking the scenic route since Cilan has all that pent up energy that needs to be released. Red has a specific spot he wants to take them to as well, so when they do eventually get close to see the wide lake in their view, he'll actually take the lead to continue them a little farther, to where Red's pokémon are out and waiting for them: Lapras sitting already in the water itself, Charizard sprawled out and enjoying the heat of the sun; Jolteon's will be on his feet and yapping their way upon seeing them, and as for Gengar...

...who knows where Gengar is. Mewtwo, however, does not do social gatherings. The shy bugger.

Reaching them is plenty of time for Red to get his bearings again however, stepping before the blanket that's already laid and stretching out his arms. ...Or one of them because that basket is actually heavy. ]

Here we are! [ Now, time to take this to a new level!! ] We can stay on shore where it's safe and dry....or we can take a ride on Lapras's back and really find out what's out there today!
