[Cilan's also sort of realized that the events of the last week or so appeared to be part of Luceti's...usual amount of strangeness. Which, someone as smart as he claimed to be, really should have picked up on it a lot sooner and now he may or may not owe an apology to a few people that he may have been too forward around. (As well as acknowledging that Masaomi was actually rightfor once when he warned us about a potential shift taking place.) Unlike Emmet, he's not affected by the lingering effects of this particular shift, which...doesn't really help in trying to figure out how he actually feels about Emmet now. Instead of waking up on the day the shift ended with feelings of "love and happiness and such", he instead felt very awkward and confused and maybe freaking out because askgdkj Emmet confessed to us and kissed us on the cheek and we sort of did the same and said some embarrassing stuff WHY DID WE DO THAT??
So he may have spent the next few days trying to calmly figure out what he should do and how exactly he should approach this...but three and a half days later and he's still a little awkward and unsure, but it's not like we can put this off forever. But at the knock at the door, Cilan figures he could probably shelve it a little longer and try not to act weird around our guest...or not, noting who the person at our door actually is when he goes to greet them. Um...you can totally act normal, right Cilan? Somehow against all odds, he manages to smile and try to appear calm despite mentally panicking a little.]

Ah, hello Emmet--how are you today?
